The objective is to provide technical assistance to:

Improve understanding of climate-related loss and damage (both economic and non-economic)

Strengthen national systems and knowledge to support policy planning

Facilitate access to appropriate loss and damage financing mechanisms

The Santiago Network operates under the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage and aims to connect vulnerable countries with relevant technical expertise and support.

Be members of the Santiago Network, or have submitted an application for membership before the proposal deadline (membership must be confirmed prior to selection)

Demonstrate relevant technical expertise in loss and damage, climate change, or related fields

Have experience delivering technical assistance, preferably in Small Island Developing States (SIDS)

Applications from consortia or partnerships are encouraged, particularly those involving local or regional experts
