Call for Proposals: Enhance access to specialized Services for Survivors of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Moldova)

UN Women in the Republic of Moldova has announced a call for proposals aimed at advancing gender equality and empowering women, with a focus on promoting the rights of women and girls and ensuring their full participation in all areas of life.
The call prioritizes strengthening the capacities of national stakeholders to implement the National Program on Ensuring Gender Equality for 2023–2027, enhancing women’s economic empowerment, supporting the development and implementation of gender-responsive policies and budgets, addressing gender-based violence through prevention and response measures, advancing women’s leadership and political participation, and promoting positive social norms and gender equality in all spheres of public and private life.
The budget range for this proposal is a minimum of USD 80,000 and up to USD 90,000. Projects are expected to start in October 2025, run for 18 months, and be completed no later than the end of March 2027. Selected partners will contribute to the overall objectives of UN Women’s Strategic Note for the Republic of Moldova, aligning with national and international commitments on gender equality, including the Sustainable Development Goals.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are civil society organizations legally registered in the Republic of Moldova, with proven experience in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment. Applicants should demonstrate the capacity to work with diverse groups, including women from disadvantaged backgrounds, survivors of violence, rural women, women with disabilities, and other marginalized communities. Collaboration with local authorities, media, and community stakeholders is strongly encouraged to ensure broad outreach and sustainable impact.
