The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched the call for proposals for the Implementation of the Gender Action Learning System Methodology in the Youth in Agribusiness Programme.
Objectives
The aim of implementing the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) Methodology is:
To provide high quality gender technical support and coordinate implementation of this Gender Transformative Approach in the VKB program areas
Facilitate the conceptualization and implementation of the Gender Action Learning system (GALS) methodology in cooperation with World Food Programme Tanzania Country office and VKB Cooperating Partners.
Specific Objectives
To lead implementation of Gender Action Learning System (GALS) methodology in the program regions of Arusha, Manyara, Dodoma, Singida, Tabora, Shinyanga and Simiyu.
To build the capacity of Gender and Action Learning System (GALS) among WFP staff and VKB Cooperating partners,
To review locally available Gender and Action Learning System (GALS) guidelines and materials for community facilitators for implementation of GALS methodology
To contextualize the locally or regionally available GALS manuals and develop a manual and Implementation plan for WFP.
